The Project Hero is responsible for enquiries received through this website. For questions about your personal information, email hello@theprojecthero.co.uk.

Information you provide

An enquiry may include your name, email address, company, service interests, budget and the details you choose to share. Please do not include sensitive personal information or confidential records in an initial enquiry.

When the form offers “Prepare your enquiry”, it creates a draft in your browser. The website does not send that draft. You can copy it or open it in your email application and choose to send it. When “Send your enquiry” is available, the details are transmitted to our email delivery provider, Resend, and our business inbox.

Technical information and spam prevention

Hosting and email providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times and delivery records to operate and protect their services. When online form delivery is enabled, a hashed version of your IP address is stored in Upstash Redis for up to one hour to limit repeated submissions. The rate-limit record does not contain your enquiry.

This website does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts, and the enquiry form does not save drafts in browser storage. If additional analytics or other technologies are introduced, this notice should be updated to describe them.

How information is used

We use enquiry details to respond, discuss possible work and prepare proposals. If a project proceeds, relevant details may also be used to perform the agreement. These activities rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and, where applicable, taking steps towards or performing a contract. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing and retention

Information is processed by the providers needed to host the site, deliver email, protect the enquiry service and operate our business inbox. Enquiry correspondence may be retained for up to 24 months to support follow-up conversations. Project and accounting records may have different retention requirements.

Providers may process information outside the UK. You can contact us for information about the providers and safeguards applicable to your enquiry.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase information, restrict or object to processing, and receive a copy in a portable format. Contact us to make a request. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
