Gold includes speed optimisation and basic SEO. Silver can add these for £10 per page per month. For a standard comparison, that brings Silver plus the add-on to the same per-page rate as Gold. Ask about the difference in update priority when choosing a plan.
Agree what counts as a page and an extra
Begin with a page plan: home, services, about and contact, for example. Dedicated service pages can help answer different customer questions, but they should have useful, distinct content. Do not add pages only to chase search keywords.
Commerce, complex booking flows, customer accounts and custom integrations may require a separate scope. Your quote should identify domain charges, paid integrations, content responsibilities and any applicable VAT.
Look beyond the first year
Ownership of a subscription website transfers after 12 months of continuous subscription under the signed agreement. Clarify cancellation, the transfer process and the ongoing hosting or support arrangement before starting.
A monthly plan is useful when you want a managed presence and a predictable build cost. A bespoke project may be more appropriate when your website is itself a complex application. Discuss the functionality first, then choose the pricing model.
